A dream come true

I've been meaning to become a "blogger" for years... now seems to be the perfect time to start. I've experienced many dreams come true this past year...I really do feel like I'm living "Happily Ever After".

A brief summary of 2011

• I've given birth to our 2nd child - such an indescribable blessing

• I've become a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom)

• We sold our house in just 2 months

• and most recently... we are in process of building our "realistic dream home"!  2 story traditional home, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3000 sq ft, my dream kitchen and Scot's dream 4 stall garage!  I don't think it's fully hit me how much of a dream come true this really is! I am so excited!

I feel so overwhelmed (& humbled) with the blessings God has poured on our family and have found myself getting so busy in the day-to-day juggling of these huge life changes that I am not truly soaking up the fact that I am experiencing the many dreams of mine come to reality.  I feel like I'm in a haze of going through the motions and hope that this blog will help me take the time to count my blessings.  Not sure anyone else will care... but it's a way to help me organize my thoughts and reflect... and hopefully someday I'll look be able to look back and appreciate the time I take to journal my thoughts.  So here goes...
